My name is James Cox.

I am a graduate in Science and Law from Sydney University and I recently completed level one of the Chartered Financial Analyst program (CFA). I specialise in sales and marketing having worked at Wiliam web design, a Sydney web design and development agency, as sales director from February 2006 until May 2008. I now work as the marketing manager of an Australian value investing research publication called The Intelligent Investor.

Since finishing my law degree, I have developed an interest in finance, the stock market and investing after reading a number of books on the subject and starting the CFA. In this search, I have been frustrated by the difficulty of finding quality information about these topics on the internet.

This blog is intended to help me focus on learning these topics and to make it easy for others to do the same. I am by no means an expert and I welcome any feedback that anyone would like to send me.
