My name is James Cox.

I am a graduate in Science and Law from Sydney University and I am currently studying level one of the Chartered Financial Analyst program (CFA). During my time at University, I worked in sales and marketing strategy at several companies. These companies most recently included Wiliam web design, a Sydney web design and development agency where I worked as sales director from February 2006 until May 2008. I now work at an Australian stock market research publication called the Intelligent Investor.

Since finishing my law degree, I have developed an interest in finance, the stock market and investing after reading a number of books on the subject and starting the CFA. In this search, I have been frustrated by the difficulty of finding quality information about these topics on the internet.

This blog is intended to help me focus on learning these topics and to make it easy for others to do the same. I am by no means an expert in this area and I welcome any feedback that anyone would like to send me.

I will always acknowledge all the authors who have contributed information to my blogs as I write them.
